A man from Malawi lays wounded after he tried to return to his shack to gather his belongings in the Reiger Park informal settlement outside Johannesburg, South Africa, May, 21, 2008. The United Nations' International Organisation for Migration said that the violence had displaced 13,000 people. At least 42 people have been killed in over a week of violent attacks on African migrant workers who are accused by many in South Africa's poor townships of stealing jobs and fuelling a wave of violent crime.
